China Glaze - Glistening Snow Swatch

Here is my #1! Glistening Snow. This one is a beauty, no pictures can do this justice.

This is 2 coats of Glistening Snow. Formula was great no application issues at all. I used a topcoat for  this mani and it just made it more sparkly.

This is one of those polishes while you're driving every once and awhile you just stare at your nails. Just gorgeous.

China Glaze - Angel Wings Swatch

This is another polish I got from the ULTA Buy 2 get 1 free sale. I didn't think I would love this as much as I did. This is my #2 Favorite from this collection.

This is 2 coats of Angel Wings and man do I love it. It went on smoothly. Formula was nice there is nothing bad to say about this polish.I didn't expect to love this one as much as I did. But i'm glad I purchased it. I'll be showing my #1 from this collection tomorrow.

China Glaze - Winter Holly Swatch

Hi everyone. I've been away from my blog way too long, but the fan on my laptop is broken so it makes it harder to use. On top of that my phone broke last night and I have to wait until' the weekend to get a new one. So i'll just be posting pictures of mani's I did a few weeks ago while my phone was still working that I posted on my instagram.

So I bought Winter Holly a few weeks ago at ULTA they were having a Buy 2 get 1 free so I bought about 6 polishes. This is one of the ones that I bought.

This is 3 coats of Winter Holly. Formula on this was good the first coat went on a little un even but by the second and third coat I was able to even it out. This is way better in person than in pictures.

I don't usually use topcoats on my glitters because the gritty-ness doesn't bother me. But I decided to for this mani and it made it way more sparkly. When I saw swatches of this polish I fell in love, I thought it was my favorite but it turned out to be my 3rd favorite! I'll be posting pictures of my #2 and my #1 soon.

Milani - Blue Flash. Swatch

Hey everyone! I turned 21 at the beginning of October and I wore this as one of my many birthday mani's.

Milani Blue Flash is a blue glitter with little tiny pieces of glitter and hexigonal glitters. This is one coat  over Sinful Colors - Black on Black and I loved it.

I've layered this over other blue's before but it just blends in and I have to use atleast 3 coats to make it stand out. So I prefer it over black. The application was smooth, and the drying time was alright. This doesn't dry very fast so if you choose to wear it on your own you should take your time in between coats.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Maybeline Color Show - Amethyst Ablaze. Swatch

Hello everyone! So I picked this polish up at my local walmart about three months ago. First time I wore it I decided to never wear it again. But I decided that I'd put it on one last time for swatching purposes.

Maybeline Color Show - Amethyst Ablaze is a metallic polish. It is such a pretty color. I love purple, purple is my favorite color. But man I do not like this polish. I had chunks in my bottle, and as you can see it dried lumpy. It was really odd. Besides the chunks in my bottle that were all over my nails, the polish dried pretty fast.

This is the only polish that I have from the color show line. I plan on buying more from them, I just hope that the rest of the polishes aren't like that. Have you ever bought anything from this line? If you have how was your experience with it?

Funky Fingers Baby, Baby, Baby. Swatch

Let me start off by saying that this is one of my favorite glitters that I own. I just love it so so so much. I picked this up about a year ago at Five Below. When I went back a month ago to pickup a back up I didn't see it there anymore, super bummer.

Pictures cannot do this polish justice. It's a teal ish glitter with little holographic particles scattered through. This is one of those polishes that while you're driving you glance over every once and awhile and look. It's so sparkly. I had no application issues. It dries fast! After it dries it is gritty but gritty doesn't bother me and I usually don't put topcoats on my glitters. But I did this time and it smoothed out in one coat of top coat.

Hopefully I can get my hands on a backup soon!

Halloween Nail Art- Spiderweb SUCCESS!

Happy Halloween everyone! I posted this on my instagram a few weeks ago. I did this the day after I did that fail mani.

This is much much better. I made sure to not make my lines as thick. I used O.P.I, A Roll In The Hauge as my base for all of my fingers. On my non accent fingers I layered one coat of Sinful Colors, Cloud 9 over it. I used a white striper for my spiderwebs

I was very happy with how this turned out. I wore it for a few days, and got quite a few compliments  on this. That's all for my Halloween nails. I got burned out on Halloween pretty quick. I hope everyone has a fun and safe night tonight!

Halloween Nail Art- Spiderwebs FAIL

Okay so I did this nail art Halloween nail art a few weeks ago when I was in the "Halloween" spirit. Not so much anymore. It's cold and rainy in Michigan, and we've decided to scrap going trick or treating. Anyways on to the fail

I made my lines waaay too thick, and the webs look way crooked. I used Sinful Colors, Black on Black for this and some wet n wild color I got for like .98 cents at Meijer. I can't remember the name of it.

Come back tomorrow for my successful spider web mani.

Kardashian Kolors Holiday 2012 - Kardashing Through The Snow. Swatch

Hi everyone! It seems like I have seen so many holiday/winter collections at the stores lately. No complain though my favorite collections are always the holiday/winter ones. So I found this polish at my local Meijer the other day on clearance!!!! I was beyond excited, spazed out in the store and everything. This is the only one I picked up because it was the only one that really caught my eye.

This is 4 coats it takes that many coats to build up. This polish dried fairly quick between coats. I had no application problems. It's a multicolored glitter in a clear base, so this will be really good for layering.

Coat 1 (ignore my terribly stained nails)
Coat #2

Coat #3

4 Coats
I layered one coat of Kardashing Through The Snow over O.P.I My Boyfriend Scales Walls I really like this combination together. I tried it over a black polish and a red polish but I didn't really like it.

Overall I think this is a great polish especially for the holidays.

Halloween Nails - Bloody Drips

Hi everyone today's nails are Halloween themed. I was never really big on Halloween before but since having a child I've been more into the holidays. We're still not sure what my son Gabriel is gonna be yet. We've narrowed it down to Jake from the Never land Pirates, Chewbakka from Star Wars, Yoda From Star Wars, and Iron Man. Hopefully we make a decision by the end of this week.

Flash

For my base I used one coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black. For my drips I used Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby the little glitter flecks in there are from a LA Colors art deco striper called Red Glitter.

This was my first time doing "drip" nails and I think I did a pretty good job. The pictures actually do it no justice this is one of those it looks better in person than in pictures kind of thing. I'll be doing more Halloween themed nails so there will be more post coming up soon.

Wet N' Wild Fantasy Maker - Once Upon A Time

Hi! Today i'm showing one of the polishes from the 2012 Wet N' Wild Fantasy Maker line. I'm not sure how long they've been putting these out. Last year I tried to get my hands on them and I couldn't find them anywhere. I'm glad I was able to this year. I found this at my local Meijer and it retails for 1.99 great price.

I used one coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black and one coat of Wet N' Wild Fantasy Makers Once Upon a Time. I really really loved this I just kept staring at it in the sun. All of these pics were taken outside in the sun.

Wet N' Wild Mega Last Haze Of Love, and Under Your Spell.

Another layering combination that I love! Lol it's hot to me. It's still summer but i'm more and more dipping into my fall colors.

For this mani I used 2 coats of Wet N' Wild Megalast, Haze Of Love. On my accent finger I used 1 coat of Wet N' Wild Megalast, Under Your Spell.

I love the shimmer in Under Your Spell. On it's own it would take about 3 or 4 coats to build up on it's own. So I choose to layer this over other colors. It looks fantastic over O.P.I's Lincoln Park After Dark

Shade
There isn't much else to say about this. I mean obviously this is a gorgeous mani. Oh and Wet N' Wild's halloween collection is now out! I spotted it at my local Meijer this weekend. I know they sell it at Walgreens, Cvs, and Ulta. I don't think Meijer had the whole collection on display but from what I saw it was an awesome glow in the dark polish, and a beautiful red glitter. Worth buying

Wet N' Wild Halloween Collection

That's all for now until the next post!

O.P.I A Roll In The Hauge, and Sinful Colors Cloud 9.

So long time no post, i'm gonna try more often to post than I have been. On to the mani. I did this mani about maybe 5 or 6 days ago. I was just SO in love with it.

Flash
For this mani I used 2 coats of O.P.I, A Roll In The Hauge. A gorgeous orange. I'll put a photo of it by itself at the end of the post. Then I put 1 coat of Sinful Colors, Cloud 9. I'm still in love with this mani. But when I took it off my nails were stained, no biggie though. I didn't use a topcoat with this mani and it lasted for 4 days without any chips.

I'm a purple zebra

When I first started this mani, I didn't intend for it to be zebra print it just happened and i'm glad that it did.

For this mani I used On A Trip by Wet n' Wild from their megalast line. It's a pretty purple but it bubbled. You can actually see it on my index finger. Also the brush on this is terrible, it was so hard to work with. Very frustrating, but it's a beautiful purple. For the zebra stripes I used a black striper brush.

Glitter and Holo.

Um. Heeeeeey *waves* another post. So lately i've been having a "i have too many polishes, idk which one to wear and i'm feeling like i'm tired of all of them" moment. Sooo I just figured glitter i love glitter polishes.
Isn't that gorgeous. Yeah it is. So this polish is Spit Fire by Pure Ice I picked it up one day at walmart for like 1.97. I've had this polish for a year and this is the third time i've worn it. I need to wear it more often. This polish can be worn on it's own but I chose to layer it over Prelude To A Kiss by Orly I believe that Prelude to a kiss is from their Spring 2012 collection, I know that I picked it up this year. I put on one coat of prelude to a kiss, and layered three coats of spit fire over it.

blurry to show holo
Hopefully I will be out my nail "rut" soon and will do some cute nail art.
